spare room - studio apartment on wheels - home office
They are Static Caravans. They don't move.
Static Caravans | ? Are caravans that stay put. We park them at your desired location i.e. your backyard, caravan park, and they stay there.
Why rent an ISHH_Space | ? Putting a caravan in your back yard can serve a multitude of needs. Spare room for family members, guest stay, cheap alternative to renting, a cheap home office or creative space option for business.
How does it work | ? Basically when you find a space to put the ISHH you give me a call. I'll come inspect your area at no cost to you. We organise a Drop-off date and you sign a rental agreement and pay a security bond. On the Drop-off day I drive the caravan to your home, setup the caravan and hand over the keys.
Security Bond | ? All our security bonds remain in a savings account with St George and accrue interest at the current interest rate. Thats right your Bond accrues interest! The Security Bond is $650.
Can I really live in a caravan | ? You sure can. Actually this idea is already up and running in a few states. You'll have power, running water, a kitchenette for basic cooking, a bed, storage and some SPACE. There are no bathrooms in any of our caravans and so they really act more like a spare room than a home. In this way you will need to be close to a home. If you are planning a long term stay we can even arrange a small floating deck for the front of the caravan.
What area do you service | ? Generally a 200km radius from our base in Coolum, Sunshine Coast. Thats as far South as the Gold Coast, as far North as Hervey Bay and as far West as Dalby, but we make exceptions for Long-term rentals.

Out of the Box (ideas). into the caravan.
Not Moving! | ! ...moving house is a big deal and may not be necessary, if you have a backyard with enough space for a caravan, you just moved into a bigger house & you didn't have to move a thing (I Did). Often growing families only need more space for short periods.
Backyards | ? Got one? Don't really use it to the fullest? It could be an asset. Put a caravan in the back yard and provide student accomodation, save your guests big$$ on accommodation, cheap office space alternative, no renovation required.
Home-Office | $15.00 Actually commercial office space is expensive, so any alternatives should be considered and working from home is no picnic, especially if you have kids. For $150 P.W, or dual with another professional, with wi-fi from the house, no commute, no setup fees, no realtors, no parking dramas! Worth a second thought. And we are moving into fit outs specifically designed for the Office Guru.
Renovate Shmenovate | ! Growth is a part of life but it might only be a short term space solution you need i.e. teenagers, grandparents. Why renovate when you don't have to and don't really have the capital. Utilize a caravan for your growing home and solve a problem straight away.
Downsizing l A lot of ppl are realising they need less space than they once thought, also a booming seniors population are seeking options too.
School Holidays | ? The school holidays is a time for visiting family and friends, FOR EVERYONE!! So accommodation suddenly goes through the roof, its hard to find, congested and like I said expensive. Park a caravan in your yard for the school holidays and you could save big $$. Not to mention having your friends and family right out side your door! (good and bad thing :)
RENT TO OWN l Option for renters 'Rent to own' can be an exciting option but how it all works varies greatly depending on the product you wish to own. I recommend doing some research of your own before making a decision like this.
We are not looking to sell explicitly as we are a lease business so our 'rent to own' option gives 'renters' the option to pay off the caravan as they go. So a minimum rental PLUS repayment period of 12 months is required.
Essentially how it works is; you are renting for X amount of time @$135 P.W, and slowly paying of your very own caravan with an additional amount of Y, totalling Z dollars P.W. X + Y = Z
Before this option can even be taken a 4-8 week 'rental only' is recommended to see if it is the right caravan/decision for you, this is otherwise known as a cooling off period as it is a big commitment.
For more information please call me directly, all this will be written up in a contract upon settlement.
